I began 2010 with a heap of good luck. On the day we came back from my winning weekend at Mapleton I opened my inbox to an email to say I had won a degustation meal for two at Absynthe restaurant. Fig and Parmesan Millefeuille, Roquette Pesto This was the only course we didn't really enjoy. As far as flavours go, they went well together. The texture of the cold Parmesan Millefeuille wasn't to our liking.
Yoghurt Bubble, Liquid Chocolate, Pineapple Sorbet. A wonderful combination of textures and flavours.
